ELDORA – Farmers are not the only ones who are taking their crops out of the field this time of year; gardeners are doing the same by picking their own fresh produce. Marilyn Neuerburg has been freezing and canning her bounty of fruits and vegetables, and will enjoy them all winter.
“I’ve done 150 quarts of tomatoes,” Neuerburg said. “Including juice.” Eighty pints of tomatoes, salsa and tomato jam can be added to that number.
