The Eldora Herald has earned major recognition. The Iowa Newspaper Association’s 2024 Better Newspapers Contests saw the newspaper honored in the category of Total Newspaper Design. Designer Megan Larsen was noted for her work with the newspaper as she was announced as the First Place Winner. Recognition was given during the Feb. 8 Iowa Newspaper Convention.
