ELDORA – About two years ago, Deb Johnson and Lea Babcock of the Hardin County Historical Society were looking at a book of graduates that another community had put together, and decided they wanted to do their own.
Johnson started compiling information on the school buildings, administrators and students who came and went through the years at Eldora, then Eldora-New Providence, then South Hardin schools.
“It was quite an undertaking, but a good one,” Johnson said. “I’m so happy with them.”
