Role-play actors attend feed

ELDORA – In full uniform, Brig. Gen. John Buford of the U.S. Army Cavalry of the Potomac, and wife, Mrs. Buford, attended the Hardin County Sweet Corn Feed on Aug. 7. They slowly strolled toward the crowd of attendees, which included Gov. Kim Reynolds and Sen. Joni Ernst, as well as local Republican politicians.

“We’re going to go to Gettysburg,” Buford announced. “I’m planning on going to the senior conference of Union generals.”
