ELDORA - The long-in-the-creating 11th Avenue street project took a bumpy path to its date with contractors this summer. The project ran into a spurt of ill-timed inflation and other obstacles before the Eldora City Council decided to push ahead in the face of higher prices and some contractor misgivings.
When council members met last Monday, it was to tie up the final finance details on the project. The council had already met for multiple public hearings and preliminary votes.
