Ackley gas leak

ACKLEY – Emergency responders had a busy Tuesday morning in Ackley, but when all was said and done they managed to shut down a potentially dangerous situation with no harm to anyone. Authorities speculate a partial wall collapse in a vacant building may have caused a gas line rupture requiring the emptying of seven storefronts on the same block. (Read it all in the Friday Index)
