Supervisors keen on geo-thermal...
HARDIN COUNTY – It will last 100 years and is as dependable as the ground beneath the Hardin County Courthouse.
It will add close to $90,000 to the $1.8 million courthouse heating and cooling project already under way, but coming up with the extra financing doesn’t represent a problem, and if anything the events of the last few days (weather-wise) have confirmed the wisdom of enlisting geo-thermal energy in the utility plan.
The $90,000 figure didn’t dissuade the county supervisors from voting to enlist the geo-thermal feature.
