Area runners shine at Comet Invite

UNION- Runner-up placings were posted by juniors Caleb Silver of BCLUW and Aubrie Fisher of Iowa Falls-Alden/AGWSR during the Comet Cross Country Invitational on the South Hardin Rec Area Golf Course Saturday.

Silver captured his second silver medal in four meets this fall, running 17:31, while Fisher was second-best with a 20:16 clocking. Fisher also owns one first placing and two thirds this season.

Host BCLUW, Iowa Falls-Alden and South Hardin combined for eight top 15 medal placings
