Tree survey to be undertaken

ELDORA – The week of August 27, or thereabouts, you may notice some surveyors in town, walking the streets with data recorders.

It is the forest service. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has shared in a grant to study the passage of nutrients through soil and into the groundwater.  It’s a phenomena usually talked about in conjunction with fertilizer and farm fields. (Read it all in the Friday Index)
