Three more Eagle Awards added to the tally

ACKLEY – The real badge for any adult involved in scouting has to be the number of young men who attained the rank of Eagle with that leader’s help.

A total of 35 down through the years, from Ackley, Grundy and Eldora have benefitted from knowing scout leader Vern Miller along the way, and this past year marked 43 years in scouting for the Ackley man. They include working with young people from the Ackley-Grundy scouting community and he’s played a role in helping young men from the Eldora Troop too.
