WINTERSET- A three-way battle for second place was captured by the BCLUW girls’ golf team and qualified the Comets for the state meet during a Class 2A Regional Final Meet here Monday.

The Comets bagged a 406 four-gal, 18-hole total for the runner-up spot and earned BCLUW’s first team berth to the state show since 1990.
