School moves on roofs and retirements

The E-NP School District will be seeking bids on a round of roof repairs and related upkeep. The district is looking at rework on a section of the downtown elementary school.

Work would be on a limited section of the building, for the most part confined to the wing of administrative offices on the structure’s northwest side. They are also looking at work on the main district administrative offices a block south.

These sections were not part of the large-scale roof replacement and repairs undertaken by the district in the wake of the huge 2009 hailstorm, an event which destroyed most of the roofs in town but not some of the school property.
