Prom is back

Prom is on again.

Like so many things the last month or so, the prom festivities at the South Hardin High School ran into the weather.

Now prom is rescheduled for April 28.

The grand march is 4 p.m. at the high school, a firm starts. Valet staff at the front door will receive student vehicles and as always that is a chance for pictures of the arrival.  Following the march inside the high school, students will board busses to Bryans on 4th, at 320 East 4th Street in Waterloo for dinner. The dance will be at the Elks Club 407 East Park, Waterloo and run from about 8 to 11 p.m.

Return  to South Hardin is at 11 p.m. with arrival slated for midnight, when students will be relicensed to home and after prom.  Students need to get to after prom functions in a timely manner, as after prom doors will close doors to arrivals about a half hour after returb the high school.

After prom is at the Hardin County fairgrounds and is a function of the junior class parent, not a school district activity.

Out of town students attending can use the school to change after return from Waterloo.
