IOWA FALLS– It’s a rite of passage.

Hit or approach 65, and your senior status kicks in. All of a sudden invitations to apply for Medicare and its supplementals are showing up in the mail.

As a result, Iowa’s Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) and Hansen Family Hospital are offering  a free seminar “Welcome to Medicare” on Tuesday, August 28, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Hansen Family Hospital conference rooms.
