Hardin County planting begins

HARDIN COUNTY – Like a lot of years, planting has progressed faster in southern Hardin County than in the north.

  The lay of the land and the better natural drainage often open fields to work there first.

About 30 percent of the work may be done in that part of the county, according to Hardin County Extension’s Darwin Miller. (This was speaking Wednesday morning of last week.)
