Council moves on routine matters

The Eldora city council met Tuesday night and pushed ahead on a long running plan to try and dispose of some excess city properties.  Potential buyers are urged to contact city hall for discriptions of the properties and other information. Three properties are up for sale. About four have been disposed of in the lasst  year. Most were acquired by the city as part of a long term cleanup campaign.

The city council also upped parking fines from ten to fifty dollars for common violations, from fifty to $75 for snow season violations and from $100 to $125 for handicapped violations. (Read more in the Friday Index)
