BCLUW girls score two wins

CONRAD- Back-to-back wins were booked by the BCLUW girls’ basketball team to tip-off the season.

The Comets captured a come-from-behind 46-38 victory over Union High Monday (Nov. 25) at LaPorte City, and then in Conrad Tuesday, were a 56-40 winner over Baxter.

WALTERS SHINES

Sophomore Chloe Walters came off the bench to lift BCLUW over Baxter. Walters poured in a game and career-high 25 points, hitting 11-of-14 free throws and 3-of-5 free throws. Her linescore also had nine rebounds, four steals and two assists.
