Clemons Hardware changes hands

It has been a hardware for over 80 years, under one name or another.

And expectations are it will continue to be, but the owners of Clemons Hardware are currently in the process of turning their shop over to new ownership and announcements are pending.

The last day operating as Clemons Hardware will be Friday, February 16. The opening date under new ownership has yet to be set, but Ann Clemons said that word should come soon.

“We appreciate your business over the past two years and we are excited for the new things to come at your local hardware store.”

There won’t be any naming of the new owners for about two weeks, says Clemons.

It was in the fall of 2015, that Aaron and Ann Clemons acquired the hardware from then-owner Scott Kosanke.
